Playground Ambassador

Playground Ambassador Program

The Playground Ambassador program helps to keep our public playground systems beautiful, welcoming, safe, and clean. Past ambassadors have been parents whose children attend the playground, a guardian of a child, aunts, a grandparent, an empty nester, a senior, retiree, teen students and more!

Volunteers support this program by monitoring their adopted playground and keeping their park free of litter, including reporting issues to 311 and FOMP for a minimum of two years. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved including planting flowers and other activities that strengthen community and its members of all ages.

Enjoy the boundless scenic beauty and sounds of your playground while contributing to your community. Take pride in knowing you’re making a difference to your local playground or athletic field.
