With the help of grants from Citizens Committee for NYC and Partnerships for Parks, FOMP commissioned a local artist, "Lady K Fever," to create an organic, three-wall mural under Mosholu Playground. The work began on August 11, 2016, and involved an ongoing process based on the community input that was gathered during a community visioning event held the summer of 2016. The murals are organic because they will continue to evolve, creating more depth and layers that can be enjoyed by the viewer every time they visit the walls.
Mosholu Playground is the only playground with public bathroom facilities.
